As a commitment to preserving the environment, a cause dear to their hearts, the students of the Eco Club have introduced a new initiative to conserve electricity and save power at NBS.
They have convinced the staff and the students to switch off electricity for 15 minutes every day from 9:00 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. and are confident that small steps and measures will set an example for the larger community and show results in the long run.
They now appeal to the community, resident welfare societies, companies and other schools to adopt similar and other means of protecting the environment.
The staff at NBS commends and congratulates them for their initiative and effort and is proud of their thoughtful gesture.
