The Boys sub junior basketball tournament
The Boys sub junior basketball tournament (under 14 years) was held on 19th October at Jindal school Dwarka. Seven children participated from class V, VI and VII.
The Boys basketball League was held against the Inderprastha school. NBS team played very well and won by two baskets, thereby going on to the next round - the Quarter final round. The Quarter finals was held on the 20th of October. Here the NBS team competed against the ITL school, Dwarka. The NBS Boys team were pitted against ITL children of class VII and VIII. They showed good team spirit and played as though driven. The match lasted for half an hour with a five minute break. They finally lost by 4 baskets.
Like true sportsman they took defeat in their stride.
