The Girls sub junior basketball tournament
The Girls sub junior basketball tournament (under 14 years) was held on the 6th of October at St. Mary's school Dwarka. Nine of our children ranging from class IV to class VII participated.
The NBS team played very well. Their hand eye co-ordination, attitude and overall performance was good. They showed good team spirit. The match was played for 10 minutes with a 5 minute break in between and then continued for another 10 minutes. The NBS Girls team was pitched against children of class VII and VIII. Age was against them but they excelled and lost only by 3 baskets.
They took failure in their stride and like true champions vowed to give it their all next time too. Hurray to NBS Girls Basketball team!!!
