Gobar Times Green School Awards 2009
Nirmal Bhartia was among the top ten Delhi schools short-listed for the Green School Awards by the Centre for Science and Environment(CSE).
The Gobar Times Green School Awards 2009, was held
on for Saturday, 20th February 2010 at the Stein Auditorium,
India Habitat Centre, Lodi Road, New Delhi.
The Chief Minister Ms. Shiela Dixit and Ms. Sharmila Tagore addressed the gathering present.
The children of NBS represented the school in the
the painting competition where the theme was 'Earth
: 2050' and 'This is what I do to save the planet'.
They let their imagination run wild and put up a
colourful display. Nirmal Bhartia was one of the top
ten schools to be awarded the Green School Award 2009.
