We too decided to give storytelling a shot...in the web of our yarn - our fantasies got caught!
Students of classes V, VI and VII participated in a fun story telling session - 'Spin a yarn' on 2nd September.'09.
Aimed at developing oral skills and thinking prowess, along with instilling confidence in public speaking, the event was an enjoyable and learning experience for the enthusiastic participants. Members of the six teams narrated their original stories based on a topic selected by their leaders. Some of the topics were - 'Electric Robot', 'The Prince and the Princess', 'The Golden Egg', 'Magical tree', and the 'The Magical spider'. They were judged on the basis of content, expression, articulation and originality. All students were applauded for their effort and enterprise and each one was a winner in his/her own right.
