Nirmal Bhartia School, took up a new inter-school initiative,
the Together We Can Challenge.
Conceptualized as a collaborative design challenge, Together
We Can presents young people of classes VI to VIII with
a real world design task of significance to the community
and asks them to respond with solutions that are innovative,
creative and feasible.
Challenging and demanding in format, the contest encourages
participating teams to both, go beyond narrow disciplinary
boundaries as they research and design 'best solutions',
and also display initiative, enterprise and the skills of
teamwork as they collaborate to optimally manage time and
resources. As a grand prize, it holds out to them the promise
of acting upon the best adjudged design solution and translating
it from paper to reality!
For this inaugural edition of Together We Can, our School
has collaborated with Shankar's International Dolls Museum
to bring to the children an exciting challenge that requires
them to create Information Cards and a Brochure
detailing highlights and special facts about the museum
and its exhibits.
