Students visited the Chemistry lab and performed 'Food Tests'. They tested food items like rice, bread, potato etc for the presence of starch. Egg white was tested for the presence of protein and mustard oil was tested for presence of fat. The tests were conducted under the teacher's guidance and students concluded that the tested food items had starch, protein and fat respectively. Doing the tests made the concepts very clear to them!
