Charu Wahi -
Principal
Charu ma’am has a Bachelors degree in Psychology, a Masters degree in Applied Psychology from Lady Shriram College, Delhi University, and a Bachelor of Education degree from Allahabad University.
A passionate educator and institution builder, she began her teaching career at The Shri Ram School, Vasant Vihar as a primary teacher. Later she helped establish the school’s Special Education Needs Department and guided its development as Head. In 2001, after having been a part of the core team for the establishment of the Aravali branch, she became Principal of the Junior School at Aravalli and continued to expand upon her leadership and administrative skills.
Always a team player, with a special gift for being sensitive to the needs and concerns of those around her, she brings to her new role at NBS - a warm smile, an infectious energy and thirteen years of experience as educator, leader and administrator.
We are proud to welcome her as our founding Principal.
Amita Saxena -
Junior Coordinator
Amita ma’am completed her schooling from the northern states of Himachal Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh, and went on to pursue a Bachelor of Education and Master of Science degree in Botany from the University of Jodhpur.
A student of science, she began her teaching career after having completed a doctorate in Botany, and has previously taught at The Delhi Public School, Dwarka and Birla Vidya Niketan.
At NBS, she is coordinator for the junior school and a primary class teacher.
Aparajita Pal
Aparajita ma’am is a graduate in Commerce and Education, and a Masters in English.
An army wife and daughter, she has attended schools all over the country and enjoys travel. Having previously worked with both, schools and the corporate sector, she brings a varied experience to her role as primary teacher at NBS.
Geeta Ramesh
Geeta ma’am is a graduate in Home Science, a post graduate in child development, and has a diploma in psychological counselling.
She is passionate about teaching and research in the areas of child development and psychology, and enjoys thirteen years of experience in the field.
At NBS, she is our school counsellor and class teacher to the little ones in our pre-primary section.
Meenakshi Arora
Meenakshi ma’am is an English Honours graduate from Delhi University and has completed her Bachelor’s in Education from Lucknow. An experienced teacher, she has taught for twelve years in various schools.
Meenakshi is one of the first members of our team and has been with us since we first opened our doors. A primary class-teacher, she enjoys learning from and growing together with her students.
Sarita. S. Dadwal
Sarita ma’am graduated with a degree in Science and then went on to complete her Bachelor of Education degree from GNDU. A keen learner with varied interests, she has over the years acquired a certificate in basic French, a diploma in multi-media and web designing and is currently pursuing her post graduation.
Being an army daughter and wife, she has travelled widely and has taught in schools all over the country.
At NBS, she is an active contributor to our community programmes and in charge of the environment programme
Anjana Jangra
Anjana ma’am completed her graduation from Maharani College Jaipur and then went on to acquire a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Allahabad University.
In addition to being an enthusiastic teacher of Art and Craft, she is also a proficient language teacher, teaching both Hindi, and German.
At NBS, she takes art and craft, Hindi and Sanskrit, and is always willing to contribute with her hard work and creativity.
Pramod Singh Taragi
Pramod sir graduated from Kirori Mal College, Delhi University where he was captain of the basketball team and regularly represented Delhi University and Delhi State in various championships. Later, in order to pursue his passion for sport, he went on to acquire a Bachelor of Physical Education degree.
Pramod has previously worked with schools as a basketball coach. He joins us at NBS as our Physical Education teacher.
Vibha Bhasin
Vibha ma'am is a graduate in English and Education. A life-long learner with varied interests, she has also acquired a Diploma in Nursery Teachers Training and Fashion Designing.
Having previously taught at Father Agnel School, Gautam Nagar as a primary teacher, and at The Shri Ram School, Aravali as an Academic Coordinator, she brings with her eighteen years of rich and diverse experiences in the field. At NBS, she joins us as our 'Community Coordinator.'
Anil Jangra
Anil Sir graduated in Commerce from Kurukshetra University and holds a Certificate in Computing from IGNOU. A keen learner, he has acquired a Diploma in Systems Management and Financial Management.
Having had years of experience in the administration departments of various schools, he joined Nirmal Bhartia School in May, 2006 and has since then effectively handled different roles and responsibilities to ensure the smooth functioning of the school.
A computer expert, he heads our systems department and is a computer teacher to our children.
Sanjay Chatterjee
Sanjay Sir is an undergraduate in commerce, has trained in photo lamination and holds a certificate in computing from IGNOU.
He has worked in the corporate sector and at The Shri Ram School, DLF Phase III. He joins us at NBS as our Accountant.
A keen sportsman, he enjoys playing cricket, football and volleyball with our children.
Ekta Verma
Ekta Ma'am is a graduate in Fine Arts from College of Art (Delhi) and Masters in History of Art from National Museum Institute (Delhi).She has specialized in sculpture and is also a trained potter.
She enjoys innovation and is constantly trying new materials and techniques to keep the enthusiasm and creativity flowing. She is passionate about travelling and reading as she believes in constantly enriching herself and moving ahead.
Rashme Rajesh
Rashme Ma'am graduated in Physics and completed her Master in Information Technology from Tamil Nadu. With a keen interest in teaching, she began her career teaching Computer Science to children of classes X1 and X11, in D.A.V Higher Secondary School, Chennai. She then went on to persue her M.Phil in Computer Science and also did various other software certification courses, such as Java and DBA.
We look forward to using and incorporating technology innovatively in our curriculum with her help and warmly welcome her to NBS.
Maneet Kaur
Maneet ma'am has completed her graduation in Elementary education from the Jesus and Mary college, Delhi University.
Her work experience includes working as an elementary teacher at The Heritage school, Rohini and as a Research Associate with the University School Resource Network (U.S.R.N) , which is a project on education at the Jawaharlal Nehru University (J.N.U).
Maneet Ma'am's interests range from reading, listening to music, arts and aesthetics, to swimming, learning new things and interacting with children.
She joins us at NBS as a primary teacher.

Chitra Roy
Chitra Ma'am is a postgraduate in Marine Science from the University of Calcutta. She has done her Montessori training from Prerna Education Foundation, Pune and has completed a course on Computers from Aptech Computer Centre, Kolkata.
Chitra Maa'm is innovative in her approach and has a creative bent of mind. She was lauded for her efforts in motivating and guiding the students in the field of science with an appreciation certificate from the Directorate of Education, N.C.T, New Delhi.
An Army officer's wife, she brings with her, a richness of ideas and work experience which she has garnered while teaching in various parts of the country. We welcome her and wish her the best.
Sayori Sajeev
Sayori ma’am is a graduate in Business Administration. She has 10 years of extensive experience in the Corporate Sector in marketing and training.
In her last assignment, she worked as Process cum Training Manager for an International BPO in Gurgaon.
Sayori Ma’am loves music, reading books, travelling and enjoys trying her hand at various creative pursuits.
She joins us as Academic Secretary to the Principal. We welcome her warmly to the NBS community.
Shalu Madan
Shalu Ma’am completed her graduation in Economics from Lady ShriRam College, Delhi. She has attended various workshops and seminars on innovative teaching methodologies and is passionate about teaching. Prior to joining NBS, she taught at The Heritage School, Gurgaon, as a primary teacher.
A lifelong learner with varied interests, she also has a diploma in Fashion Designing.
She joins us as an elementary educator. We welcome her into our NBS community.
Mohan Lal Saini
Mohan Sir completed his graduation from Rajasthan University. He has also done “O” levels in computers and is now pursuing his “A” levels. His last assignment was with the “Neerja Modi School” in Jaipur as a Computer Operator and Network Administrator.
Mohan Sir enjoys music and learning more about computers.
He has joined NBS as an Administrative Assistant and looks after computer networking, hardware and software management as well. We welcome him warmly to the Nirmal Bhartia School.
Rupa Bhattacharya
Rupa ma’am has done a Bachelors degree from Bhopal University and her B.Ed from N.E.H.U, Shillong. At present she is pursuing Masters in Psychological Counselling from the Institute of Behaviour Management Sciences, Chittoor
Daughter of an Army officer and wife of an Airforce officer, she has travelled the length and breadth of the country and has had the opportunity to teach in schools across. This has added to her rich and varied teaching experience of nearly twelve years. She has also headed a branch of V.V.John School, Jodhpur and shouldered additional responsibilities effectively.
Prerna Misra
Prerna Ma’am is trained in the Montessori methods of teaching. She completed her graduation from Delhi University and has a rich experience of more than fourteen years of teaching at elementary level.
She is passionate about her profession and loves to interact with children. She believes in guiding rather than teaching the children and in inculcating discipline from an early age.
Having done Commercial Art as well, she has an artistic bent of mind and likes to present her work aesthetically. Her classes are full of fun and the children enjoy themselves immensely.
Passang Dorjay Lama
Basically, a guitarist from Darjeeling, Passang Sir passed his Grade 8 Examinations from the Trinity College of London in 2003. He has also been the lead vocalist of the band “The Yellow Hammer” and has won many prizes including the Best Guitarist in the Darjeeling Carnival in 2004 and at the Music fest in IIT Guwahati in 2005.
Having had experience in the field of music for the past ten years, Passang Sir now joins NBS as a Western Music teacher. We welcome him as he spreads warmth & cheer with the sound of his chords.
Rajeev Gautam
Rajeev Sir is a postgraduate in Dramatic Arts from the Lalit Narayan-Mithila University, Darbhanga. He specialized in Acting and then went on to do a diploma in Film-TV Production & Direction from the Asian Academy of Films & TV, Noida.
Rajeev Sir has directed, acted and written many plays for children and adults and has conducted various workshops on acting as well. He has written several articles on theatre in a number of reputed daily newspapers and has written lyrics and scripts for films, tele-films, serials and documentaries.
Passionate about Theatre, he enjoys sharing his experiences with the children and enthuses them about different aspects of drama.
Kavita Prabhakar
Kavita Ma'am has completed her Graduation from Delhi University. She has done her B.Ed from Meerut University and has a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science from DOEACC, Ministry of Electronics. She completed her Montessori training from Vidya Institute in Delhi and is currently pursuing her Post Graduation in English.
She has worked as a primary teacher with the Manav Sthali School for 2 years. Kavita Ma'am is passionate about teaching and she enjoys trying out innovative and creative teaching strategies in her classes.
Sindhu David
Sindhu Ma'am has done a diploma in nursing from a leading institute in Kerala. She has had several years of experience having worked in various hospitals of Kerala and Delhi. She takes pride in her profession and is totally committed to looking after the children while they are in school.
As a part of the NBS family, she very efficiently takes care of anyone when ill.
Bhupender Singh
Bhupender Sir has completed his Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education from MMH College, Ghaziabad and is currently pursing a Masters in Physical Education (MPE) from Noida College of Physical Education. He has had the honour of representing his college as the captain of the Badminton, Volleyball and Table Tennis teams and has won various tournaments.
Bhupender Sir has worked as Physical Education teacher in various schools and firmly believes in hard work, honesty and a compassionate approach. He is always ready to lend a helping hand and stands by the dictum of simple living and high thinking.
His aim is to inculcate a level of high ethics on sports field and to make children take sports seriously so that they may follow it up as a profession. His infectious smile is a hit with the children and we warmly welcome him to the NBS community.
Sheetal Chatterjee
Sheetal Ma'am has completed her graduation in Sociology and is currently pursuing a Diploma in Early Childhood Education from IGNOU (Delhi).
She has worked as a group facilitator with Shikshantar and Mirambika in the past and taught across all classes at the elementary level. Sheetal Ma'am’s interest range from basketball to drawing and from trekking to reading books.
She takes on the uphill but rewarding task of laying down a strong foundation for the children of Neev. We welcome her into the warm folds of the NBS community.
Sumita Kalra
Sumita Ma’am has done her masters in Psychology from Delhi University with a specialization in Developmental Psychology.
She has received training in assessment and counselling for various behavioural and emotional problems at the Child Guidance Center at AIIMS and done a course in Specific Learning Disabilities. She has had more than six years of experience working with children in mainstream and special schools.
