The Shape of things to come
Cause for much speculation and excitement, our new building
is designed to be a living reflection of our philosophy and
culture.
Planned in accordance with the standards of the international
environmental rating agency, LEED, as a sustainable green
facility, the building's architectural plans effectively blend
the principles of contemporary parctice with the environmental
wisdom of traditional systems. A feature that best shows this
integration is the unique eco friendly cooling system that
is being installed to help maintain a temperature controlled
environment. Apart from consuming much less power than conventional
air-conditioning systems and protecting the environment from
the emissions of carbon dioxide gases, the new system also
promises a circulation of fresh air and a germ free environment
in the building at all times.
Other innovative features of the building include green terraces
at various levels, project terraces for select laboratories
and activity rooms, a courtyard amphitheatre and a sundial.
Some of the exciting new facilities that will be added once
the building is complete include a gymnasium, conference room,
multi-purpose hall, counseling facilities, canteen, creche
and a uniform and book shop.
