NIBS celebrated its Eleventh Annual Day on 10th December, 2016 amidst great zeal and vibrance. The programme commenced with a scintillating welcome song, which set the tone for the evening by highlighting the theme ‘Around the World in 200 Days’.
This was followed by lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Charu ma’am and the Heads of school. Thereafter, Charu ma’am read out the welcome address to the audience and requested them to join in the celebrations with great enthusiasm.
The children took everyone on a wonderful journey as they presented a potpourri of songs and dances from Europe and Africa. An array of brilliant performances kept the audience captivated.
The evening reached a high note when the play ‘All Knotted Up’ was enacted by the children on stage. It transported the audience to a world of fantasy. The children gave their best, and through the use of colourful props and strong dialogue delivery kept the audience entertained.
The excitement doubled as the senior children joined in and performed on stage. Their astounding orchestra and dance left the audience enthralled.
The evening came to a close with the singing performance by all the teachers, which drew an unceasing applause. Lastly, a vote of thanks was proposed by Charu ma’am. It was an evening to remember.
