Congratulations to our young gymnasts !!
The NiBS Gymnastic Girls Team (under 14 year) consisting of Aananya, Manya and Rupal of class VI and Ekta from class VII was ranked 6th in the CBSE National Gymnastics Championship held at Allahabad. 75 schools participated.
Congratulations and a big hurrah to our young achiever- Divyansh Kala of IV Bahaar
•Won the gold medal in the Delhi Development Authority Table Tennis Tournament (under 11 boys category) which was held at the Dwarka Sports Complex from 28 to 29 August 2019.
•Awarded the third position in the District Table Tennis Tournament (under 10 boys category) which was held at Mount Carmel School from 31 August to 1st September 2019.
•Ranked third in the Delhi State Ranking Table Tennis Tournament 2019 (under 10 boys category) which was held at Mount Carmel School, Dwarka from 28th to 30th September 2019.
•Secured the first position in the North West District Table Tennis Championship in the under 10 boys category which was held at Darbari Lal DAV Model School, Pitampura on 2nd October 2019.
•Won the silver in the West District Table Tennis Championship (under 10 Boys & Girls category) which was held at Sarvodaya Vidyalaya, Pitampura from 7to 8th October 2019.
Our Table-Tennis Team performed very well in Hunar, an Inter- School Sports Odyssey which was held at St Thomas recently.
Kudos to the following students –
Divyansh Kala from class IV bagged the gold medal in Under-10 boys category.
Aaryan Pathak from class VI got the silver medal in Under -12 boys category.
Shreya Pathak from class VIII got the Bronze medal in Under-15 girls category.
In the Gymnastics Inter Zonal Competition (held from 18th to 24th October 2019) where in
Prithvi Saha secured the all-round fourth place. He bagged the silver in the Pommel Horse and bronze for the Roman Ring and the Floor Exercises and Umber Saha secured the silver medal in the Pommel Horse and was awarded the all-round 5th place.
Suvan Aditya of class VIII participated in the innovate@trix event in students in threes schools had to work collaboratively to build products to solve day-to-day problems. Working on the theme “Green and Clean Environment”, Suvan’s group build a prototype of a product to provide air cooling. Their product won the “best innovation” award. This took place on the 6th of August 2019 where thirty-four schools of the Delhi NCR region participated.
Kudos to Shreyash Kumar of class 8 who was ranked four in the Zonals and 229 in the International ranking in the International General knowledge Olympiad.
Congratulations to our Under 14 Table-Tennis team for getting a bronze medal in the Badminton Sankalp Sahodaya Tournament which was held at Mount Carmel School. Our students- Shreya Pathak from Class VIII Bahaar, Tanvi Vohra from VIII Bahaar and Shloka Aggarwal performed really well.
Congratulations Viha ! Viha Paul of Class 8 Bahaar, secured the first position in the Solo category and her dance group was declared runners-up in the group category in the DTE National Dance Competition.
