‘Children are the living messages we send to a time we will not see.’
-John W. Whitehead
On 9th November 2015, the amphitheatre was filled with joy and excitement. The heartbeat of NiBS-our children, waited with eager eyes to see what was in store for them this Children’s Day.
The PTA joined hands with the teachers to present a special assembly including an inspiring thought by Geeta Ma’am and morning news by Ripple Ma’am.
The roar of applause and happy cheer echoed when the elders moved to the beats of Contemporary dance and Bhangra along with singing of melodious songs to make the day memorable.
The celebrations took a sporty turn when the sports teachers organized friendly Basketball and Football matches between the PTA/Teachers and students.
The children cheered for their favourite team and kept the spirits alive. On returning to the classes after the celebration, exciting treats awaited them making their day even sweeter.
As the students prepared to leave for home with memories of the day, Anil Sir was waiting with his special ‘DJ’ surprise and the students danced to the ‘Desi beat’ with gusto and excitement.
The smile on the young faces gave meaning to the celebrations and made them complete. God Bless the Children of NiBS.
