Children’s Day

Adhering to the saying, “It’s never too late to celebrate…and every day is special for children at NiBS”- teachers, mentors, guides, facilitators, all joined hands on 18th November, 2016 to celebrate Children’s Day at Nirmal Bhartia School. Children were beaming with joy and enthusiasm was all set for the celebrations to begin in the school amphitheater. The assembly began with a beautiful quote showcasing the importance of the most beautiful and joyful phase of human life, that is, ‘childhood’. This was followed by the news and weather report. To emphasize on the importance of bringing happiness on a child’s face, a choir group constituting teachers at NiBS sung some evergreen melodies for their loving students. Later, a group of teachers embraced this day for the children by presenting a wonderful dance performance on songs ranging from 90’s soft tunes to trending Bollywood hits. To make this day more special the principal addressed the fledglings and inspired them with a wonderful song- ‘Forever Young’ by the Oscar-winner and Nobel Laureate Bob Dylan. The lyrics were so inspiring that they filled the children with a new invigorating spirit. On this day, the principal launched the ‘SEWA project’ for underprivileged children. This year the school will be collaborating with Digantar School, situated near Jaipur, as an initiative to provide them with better supplies and studying ambience. The event proved to be an eye opener for the students. The students of the school didn’t have a clue about this wonderful surprise assembly, which their teachers were preparing for them. The children, overwhelmed by this surprise, couldn’t stop applauding for their teachers who try their level best to make each day special for their students.
