At NiBS, every year we observe Labour Day as Gratitude Day, a day when the children come forward and express their gratitude to the support staff and highlight their contribution in the smooth functioning of the school. This year the children expressed their thoughts and emotions through various media. Poems, appreciation cards, skit, song and thank you notes, all these were the ways that the children of Senior School conveyed their feelings towards their ‘didis and bhaiyas’ during an assembly. After the assembly, the ‘didis and bhaiyas’ were asked to step forward and volunteer to paint a wall and leave their everlasting mark in the school. They were then served refreshments and then it was back to work again.
