Physical Education plays a major part in the overall development and growth of children. Inter-House tournaments are organised to nurture our grass root talent and students are given ample opportunities to demonstrate taught skills, co-ordination and communication as required in the tournament.
The aim of these matches was to give them a highly competitive atmosphere and exposure and they participated with great zeal and enthusiasm.
The Inter-House Table Tennis Tournament for classes VI and VIII was held from 28th to 30th April 2016. The Table Tennis tournament was divided into two categories:
- Team matches(Boys and Girls)
- Individual matches(Boys and Girls)
Tanuj Budhiraja of Class VIII Basant from Neem House showed excellent skills during the game and won the match by 3-2. It was a great battle which reached towards a tie breaker and finally Tanuj keep his house on top of this competition.
Naman Gulati of class VII Bahaar (Neem House) secured second position. In the Individual matches for girls, Vanshita Rajput of class VIII Bahaar from Neem House secured the first position and won the match 2-1 and Ananya Anand of Class VII Bahaar, from Neem House secured the second position.
