The Day the Crayons Quit

Class 2 Basant had their assembly on 19 January 2018. The assembly was about how we can achieve best by working together. It began with the prayer followed by the thought of the day and the news. Thereafter the children presented a short play called ‘The Day the Crayons Quit’. It was about a boy who loves to colour. The crayons is his box complain about why he uses some of them more than the other and some are sparsely used. In the end the boy makes a picture where he uses all the colours and the picture gets appreciated making all the crayons happy. The message was that, when all the crayons were together they were happy thereby getting appreciation. This was followed by a song ‘The more we get together the happier we’ll be’. The assembly was thoroughly enjoyed by both the parents and the children.
