As an introduction to the lesson on ‘Gandhiji Leads The Nation’, the students of class V paid a visit to the Philatelic Museum.
The children were mesmerized while watching the documentary on the history of stamps which had been organized especially for our students.
They enjoyed being part of India’s glorious past as they walked around the galleries of the Museum. They were able to relate to the Independence Movement of our country and the role of Gandhiji.
The trip came to an end and the young historians returned awed and enriched with an experience of a lifetime. Each brought back a treasure trove of information and hands full of souvenirs given to them by the staff of the Museum.
