Youth Parliament Veer Kunwar Singh Yuva Sansad Youth Parliament is a vehicle for youth participation in global discourse, and represents an opportunity to integrate the views of youth into decision making processes the world over. Young minds are made for new ideas and these ideas may, when applied, change lives of millions of people. The Veer Kunwar Singh Foundation along with students and teachers of Nirmal Bhartia School organized the 1st Edition of Veer Kunwar Singh Yuva Sansad on 28th and 29th October 2017 at Nirmal Bhartia School, Dwarka, New Delhi. The Youth Parliament involved participation of 108 delegates from across the country. The event began with the inaugural ceremony attended by Shri Mahabal Mishra( Ex. Member of Parliament), Shri Jai Jai Singh, a social activist, Mr.Nirmal K. Singh, Founder of Veer Kunwar Singh Foundation and Mr.Sanjeev Kumar Singh, IRS officer. The two day event comprised of three committees namely Lok Sabha, Historic War Cabinet and Stakeholders Meet.Students from different parts of the nation came together and voiced their opinions on burning issues through intense debates and discussions. The Event ended with the prize distribution ceremony attended by His Excellency Mr. J. Goburdhun, GOSK, High Commissioner of the Republic of Mauritius to India. Nirmal Bhartia won the Best school delegation. It was an enriching experience to see young students putting forth their opinions with confidence and rationality.
